As the front-line person our Studio, SchoolPix, DancePix, and SportPix customers interact with, our photographers should be outgoing, professional, and courteous! We focus on our customer first.

 

You should be able to follow step-by-step instructions for taking consistent, properly exposed and composed photographs with a digital SLR or mirrorless camera. A basic working knowledge of studio lighting, digital photography, and computers is preferred. All photography equipment necessary to perform your job duties will be provided.

You must have a valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and reliable transportation. You must be willing to travel with overnight stays on occasion.

LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER

In addition to the requirements of a seasonal photographer, our leads will be asked to be the point person at photo sessions. An above-average understanding of studio lighting, digital photography, and computers is necessary. All photography equipment necessary to perform your job duties will be provided. You will:

  • Manage seasonal photographers at photo sessions

  • Communicate with clients at photo sessions to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed

  • Collaborate with various internal departments to prepare and execute successful photo sessions

  • Troubleshoot photography equipment issues in the field

  • Submit photos and session information to appropriate department(s)

Those with great written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting daily with customers, clients, vendors, and employees. Persons should be flexible and possess time-management skills to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasks throughout the day.

Though we strive to be exceptional, we do make mistakes. It’s necessary to possess patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with upset customers. We prize interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers, such as being personable and attentive.

 

Duties:

  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate employee, office, or area.

  • Sorting and delivering mail to employees.

  • Daily mail and package pickups.

  • Responding to all customer inquiries via phone, email, or social media message in a polite and timely manner.

  • Organizing files for billing, customer, client, and employee records, etc.

  • Maintaining a tidy office daily.

  • Weekly office cleaning.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Relationships are what define our company as a leader. Those who create, nurture, and serve those relationships should be detail-oriented, flexible, and self-motivated.

 

As a relationship manager, you will be in a key role to grow our company through sales and ongoing service to customers. You will be furnished with all the sales materials and training you need. You will:

  • Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers

  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests

  • Resolve complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client's desires

  • Act as the client's representative to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience

  • Collect and analyze data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs

  • Attend trade shows to further skills and understand changing consumer needs

PHOTO-SMITH

Our product is just as important as our service. A designer’s eye and ability to work efficiently editing multiple genres of photography is key to the success of our photo-smiths. We strive to get the best product into our customer’s hands, quickly, the first time.

 

Duties:

  • Digital photo & print technician

  • Enhance images by correcting resolution and composition, cropping images and adjusting tone, color, saturation and brightness

  • Retouching, including adding or removing objects from an image and in-depth photo manipulation

  • Creating digital graphics and graphically-driven products

  • Uploading and maintaining images online through our e-commerce platform

  • Print production

A proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop are required. You will also use proprietary and 3rd party e-commerce and CRM software and various other programs and plugins centered around the post-production process.
